Failure is the most common word associated with diet success. This may seem a strange statement but it's true. Too often many diets are approached in a manner that only spells out catastrophe and failure for the participants. Because too many people have failed in the past when following diets, they often believe that they will fail again.

With this attitude, it's not surprising that success rates for a diet food plan can be low. Until such time as this attitude is changed only failure will be the expected outcome.

If you fall into that category, stop. That's right. Stop now. What you are reading won't help you. Give it up. You're only torturing yourself. Of course, maybe you get pleasure from failure. If that's the case, read on and knock yourself out.

Seriously, if you resign yourself to failure with any diet food plan before you have begun, you are wasting time, effort and money. If you have dieted in the past and have been unsuccessful, learn from the experience. Often success is only a matter of applying what you have already learned.

If you failed with a diet food plan before, ask yourself where it went wrong. Was it the only plan? Was it suited to you? Did you do it on your own? These are only a few of the questions you may want to ask. If you can't answer any of these questions, then you do have issues and perhaps you should seek medical advice before considering a diet food plan again.

Assuming you have an answer to why the previous diet or diets were unsuccessful, you are now in a position to look at an alternative. You alone are responsible for what and when you eat. That is providing you don't have other difficulties or a medical condition in which case, you should seek professional advice.

If you have failed with numerous diet food plans in the past, have you ever thought that it may not be the plan but could be something else. Again, in this case I would suggest that you seek professional advice before making any future decisions related to dieting.

However, if you have only given up on one or two diet food plans, there is certainly hope and quite possibly help available for you here.

Firstly, think positively and don't accept failure. You will succeed. Consciously make that decision now. Tell yourself that the next diet food plan you choose will be the right one for you.
